Your Right to Opt-Out

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of their personal information.

When you opt-out, we will stop selling or sharing your personal information with third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration, or for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.

What Does "Sell" and "Share" Mean?

Selling

Under the CCPA, "selling" means disclosing, making available, or transferring personal information to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration.

Sharing

"Sharing" means disclosing or making available personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising (targeted advertising based on your activity across different websites or apps).

Our Current Practices

Oodle (Comcage, LLC) may share personal information with third-party advertising and analytics partners to help us understand site usage and deliver relevant advertising. This may constitute "sharing" under the CCPA.

We work with partners including:

  • Google Analytics and Google Ads for website analytics and advertising
  • Facebook/Meta for advertising and remarketing
  • LinkedIn for B2B advertising
  • Other advertising platforms as disclosed in our Privacy Policy

Submit Your Opt-Out Request

To opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, please email us at the address below. Include your name and email address so we can process your request.

We will process your request within 15 business days and send you a confirmation.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or device sends a GPC signal, we will treat this as a valid opt-out request for that browser or device.

What Happens After You Opt-Out

  • We will stop selling or sharing your personal information with third parties within 15 business days
  • You will receive an email confirmation once your request has been processed
  • We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights
  • You may continue to see ads from us, but they will not be based on your personal information shared for targeted advertising
  • We will not ask you to opt back in for at least 12 months

California residents also have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect and how it's used
  • Delete personal information we have collected
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information
